| CROOKED
RIVER OREGON: The Crooked River is one of the
most consistent producers of rainbow trout in Central
Oregon. While figures vary from year to year, it is
estimated that in the nine miles below Bowman Dam there
are over 3000 rainbow trout per mile. With numbers like
this, the Crooked River Oregon is a one of best places
in the Northwest to learn how to fly fish. Along this
stretch there is plenty of good water for fly fishing,
and even though the Crooked River Oregon continues to
become more popular it is still possible to find solitude
and great fishing.
Our guided fly fishing trips to the Crooked River focus
on several objectives. Our guides take our guest to
water where there are ample hungry Rainbow Trout, casting
is straightforward, wading is safe, and crowding is
at a minimum. We want clients to experience the full
range of enjoyment the Crooked River Oregon has to offer,
both in terms of the fly fishing and the scenery. It
is very importantly to our staff that we provide a positive
learning experience for our clients while on one of
our guided fly fishing trips, whether it’s improving
your technique or learning more about rainbow trout
behavior and stream ecology. The Crooked River Oregon
is a great place to be introduced to the world of fly
fishing.
We offer a number of different guided fly fishing trips
on the Crooked River. All guided fly fishing trips are
