Central Oregon Guided Fly Fishing Trips

Specializing in the incredible variety that Central Oregon's high desert and Cascade Mountains has to offer, we provide first class outfitted services with the emphasis on your fly fishing Central Oregon goals. Our guided fly fishing trips are located on some of the West's most famous waters; Deschutes River, Fall River, Crane Prairie Reservoir, East Lake, Davis Lake,...just to name a few of the fantastic treasures that fly fishing Central Oregon has to offer all levels of anglers. Our home waters are teaming with chunky trophy Rainbow Trout, ferocious Brown Trout, spectacular Brook Trout, bad attitude Large Mouth Bass, and of course the illusive Wild Deschutes River Steelhead.

The beauty of the high desert is the offering of year long fishing. The onset of the spring brings the Deschutes River prolific hatches of Salmonflies and Stoneflies to the “biblical” onslaught of Caddis throughout the heat of the summer. Fly Fishing Cascade Lakes during ice out is the wakeup call for the sleeping giants of Crane Prairie Reservoir and Davis Lake ready to “Super Size It”. Autumn weather conditions bring chrome bright Deschutes River Steelhead from the Columbia River to the Lower Deschutes River that relentlessly seeks the cooler temperatures of a tail water river that the Deschutes River provides. The arrival of “Old Man Winter” brings hungry trout to the surface in search of micro-proteins to carry them through. Where else can you ski in the morning, golf in the afternoon, and throw dries in the evenings to rising trout. Better known as the Central Oregon Tri-fecta!

Along with all of these public waters, we offer the solitude and consistency of fly fishing private waters in Eastern Oregon ranch reservoirs. Fly and Field Outfitters’ has access to several of the most prolific private fisheries in the state of Oregon for both one day and several night outings. These beautiful impoundments offer real giants in incredible settings among the Junipers and Sagebrush skylines. These opportunities are ideal for everyone; mom, dad, and kids.

Our Fly Fishing Guides are Central Oregon Fly Fishing experts. Knowledgeable, patient, and attentive teachers are the skills that are staff prides themselves. Fly and Field Outfitters offers a multitude of programs that most certainly will meet the needs of even our most demanding anglers. We offer hourly casting instruction to multi day Deschutes River Trips and everything in between. Expect excellent attention and professional attitudes. Not unapproachable fly fishing elitists. Our fly fishing guides are well equipped with the latest Central Oregon offerings and our guide to angler ratios rarely exceeds 4:1 and is kept at 2:1 where possible.
