Matt Paluch

Matt Paluch started fly fishing when he was 12 years old. He spent most days practicing his casting in the cul-de-sac in front of his house after school until he was old enough to drive. The banks of the South Fork Snoqualmie are where Matt fished the most as a child and are still his “homewaters.” Matt started teaching fly casting when he was 14 years old, and developed a love for introducing people to the fly fishing lifestyle.

Matt has worked for 3 of the largest fly fishing businesses as a website manager, shop employee, and casting instructor. During his 13 years of teaching, Matt has introduced more than 1,000 people to fly fishing. Matt now owns his own fly fishing school (Matt Paluch's School of Fly Fishing) and also works for Fly and Field Outfitters as the website manager.
