Crane Prairie Update August 16th, 2024
Crane Prairie has been good the past few weeks, specifically in the deschutes channels. Water is still warm so try to fish it in the morning or evening if you can. Chironomids, scuds, damsels, worms, boatman and midges have all been fishing well, so try what works best for you and you should be scooping up the famous Cranebow in no time. No reports from Lava Lake lately but I can't imagine it’s fishing too bad, August has always been a good month for it.
