East Lake Update

East Lake Update

Small Chironomid patterns and Leeches are still the way to find fish on East. Things are warming up quickly but the water is still cold and I wouldn’t expect to see too much in the way of Callibaetis for another couple of weeks. We’ve been seeing great numbers on East so far this year and the average size of fish has been good. For those looking for a stillwater fishery that offers consistent Browns and Rainbows in the 12-18 inch range East is hard to beat right now!
