Fall River Update

Fall River Update

The Fall is being stocked consistently and is fishing very well with great numbers and size of fish. Midges, Mayflies, and various attractor nymphs are all getting the job done below a light indicator. We’ve also seen good numbers of BWOs and PMDs depending on the day, and there can be good opportunity to find a few fish on dries when the conditions are right. Typically, warm afternoons with a little cloud cover offer the best opportunity to fish dries but there are always opportunistic fish keeping their eyes peeled for a well presented Mayfly or Terrestrial pattern. Leeches, Wooly Buggers, and small streamers are also finding opportunistic fish.

Suggested Dries: Sparkle Dun PMD #16-18, Parachute PMD #16-18, Parachute Adams #16-20, Purple Haze #16-20, Sparkle Dun BWO #18-20, Parachute BWO #18-20, CDC Flying Ant#16, Black Foam Ant #16

Suggested Nymphs: Black or Red Zebra Midge #16-20, Black or Red Winkers Midge #16-20, Black or Green Tailwater Tiny #18-22, Olive or Brown Micro Mayfly #18-20, WD-50 #18-20, Tan or Grey Ray Charles #16-18, San Juan Worm
