Lakes Update April 26, 2024
We have heard there is access to wickiup, no reports from there yet but balanced leeches and chironomids should be working as well as stripping streamers. The twin lakes are both fishing well but we have heard reports of gill lice on the fish. Lava lake is likely still at least partially frozen. Hosmer is also likely frozen and probably weeks away from accessible. The road to East and Paulina is due to open some time around memorial day, we will keep our readers updated.
