Lower Deschutes Update September 16, 2022
The Lower Deschutes has been fishing well. Dry fly activity seems to have slowed a bit but nymphing has continued to be effective particularly with tungsten flies. Flashback PT’s, Copper John’s, Prince Nymphs and Perdigons are some of our favorites. Swinging leeches, sculpin and crayfish streamers can be a fun and effective way to target some more aggressive fish.
