Metolius River Update May 5, 2023
The Metolius is fishing well but we have heard with the recent rain that the water is running a bit high. Nymphing will be the ticket in high water and golden stones, leeches, worms, and eggs should all be on your list. Swinging around a streamer is another good high water method to employ and gives you a better shot at getting into some larger fish. Don't forget that the water above allingham bridge remain closed until May 22.Â
