Twin Lakes Report 6/18/21

Fishing at Twin Lakes has been consistent. Fish have started to rise here and there, subsurface action has been most consistent. Terrestrial patterns are the best bet for dry flies, mostly ants and beetles. Callibaetis hatches can pop off on any given day so be prepared with those. For your nymphs, callibaetis and chironomids are tried and true. Dark assassins and balanced leeches are good choices too. Damselfly nymphs, either stripped or under an indicator, is a really great choice and the same thing goes for leeches. Streamers work quite well on the Twin Lakes, a classic wooly bugger can do the trick. There are some big boys out there, go get em'.
