We have heard that access to the Twin Lakes has improved and have heard reports of people picking up fish on balanced leeches and chironomids at South Twin. Some of the early season fish are down a bit deeper so stripping on a full sink or intermediate is a good method. With indicator fishing, adding some tippet to your 9ft leader to get those flies down deep is a good idea. Balanced leeches and or chironomid/midge patterns should get the job done. Both lakes should be receiving a healthy stocking of trout by May 6, and this will ensure they fish well throughout spring and into summer.
