The Scientific Anglers Sonar Sink 30 Cold Fly Line is an addition to the SA Sonar family of sinking fly lines. Like it's older brother the Scientific Anglers Sonar Sink 25 Cold Fly Line in many ways but with a 30' extra-fast sinking head instead of a 25' to get down a bit deeper. Designed to get down quickly, this is a great line for fishing a number of species in a bit bigger, deeper water in cold water situations. It's a great fly line to use when fishing from a boat A large diameter handling section provides excellent line control and a low tangle design makes life easy. The running line floats and the sinking tip sinks at 4-8 inches per second (fishes at 4’-15’). This line is the replacement for Scientific Anglers’ super popular Mastery Wet Tip Express fly line.
