Deschutes Camp Trips- Live The Experience
This trip is easily the one we promote with the most gusto! Once you’ve been down there yourself, you’ll see why. Whether you have just two days or five, we will provide the camp trip of a lifetime on the Lower Deschutes River. We run these trips anytime from the salmonfly hatch starting in late April to steelhead trips in November and the whole season in between. It is simply where we all want to be, all the time!

Went with Scott on Crane on a cool June morning, right from the start the bugs and fish were rising everywhere and the fishing was nonstop action, one fish after another hooked, best morning there ever. After a great lunch, caught this 20 inch rainbow that did a triple gainer in the air and took the line to the backing, what a day! Definitely recommend Fly and Field for sure!

This trip was a highlight of my fishing adventures this year. I drove from Portland the day before through beautiful country. At the fly shop in Bend I got my waders and boots and filed out my paperwork. The next day I met my guide Justin at the Safeway in Madras. We did about a ten mile stretch of the lower Deschutes. What a great experience. I caught six big beautiful rainbow trout. If you have the time, do this trip!

Fly and Field was already one of my favorite local business, thanks to Joe and George's advice and service in the shop. A trip on the Lower D, guided by Bradon was fantastic. Lots of learning, fishing, and catching - a deer charging into the river and swimming across and a pack of wild horses grazing on the bank were icing on the cake.
