Our Guide Season is Underway!

Our Guide Season is Underway!

After an uncertain couple of months, Fly and Field Guide Service finally have all the information, permission, and protocols in place to get our season going. We have done every bit of due diligence to be sure we are working within the structure set forth by our permit administrators and government agencies. Click here to learn more about our “COVID Clause”, which is the document explaining how our trips will be run until further notice. We hope you understand some of the changes we are having to make. The Guide Staff is ready and so stoked to get out there. And so let’s get to work!

Walk and Wade Trips – Perfect for the casual angler. For Walk-In Trips we have all options available. From the Crooked  to the Falland now the Upper Deschutes we have knowledgeable Guidesready to show you the best fishin’ holes and techniques to get a bent rod in your hands. We are running both Full and Half-Day Walk-In Trips

Cascade Lakes Trips – Our Lake Trip program is up and running strong. All the lakes are now open, accessible, and fishing great. This should be a really solid season for our Stillwater fisheries. Crane Prairie opened a month ago to some of the best early season fishing anyone’s ever seen. All signs are that the fishing should stay really good up there. The road up to East Lake just opened a week ago and early reports are awesome! This coming week should see the warmest weather of the year, improving the fishing even more. We are guiding all the lakes, from Hosmer to Lava, Twin to Wickiup. We can do both Full and Half-Day Trips on the lakes. It’s a great time to get your Stillwater on!

The Lower Deschutes River has finally opened for boats and so WE GOT OUR RIVER BACK!! Can you sense our excitement? Much as we lost all that May Camp Trip Action, now it’s time to get on our favorite river. We are eager and ready to get down there with clients, whether for a Day Trip or ultimate immersion, a Multi-Day Camp Trip-Check Out This Video. The river is in great early-season shape. The flows never jacked way up this spring, which made for an early Salmonfly hatch. And with hot days ahead we should have both a really solid late movement of the big bug and also some solid early caddis action. So let’s get you down the big river soon. Get Your Trip Booked and let us show you why this is such a magical experience.
