Crane Prairie Update - June 10th, 2022

We have been hearing mixed reports from Crane. The majority of reports we are hearing have been pretty slow, a fish or two here and there but not much consistency in terms of flies to use or areas to target. Stripping flies is a favorite of ours for these sort of conditions as it allows you to cover more water than an idle indicator rig. Leeches, damsels, waterboatman and chironomids will all be good bets. We have heard of most fish being caught in 6-8 feet of water and most coming on balanced leeches. The fishing on Crane should improve as we move through summer and we are excited to start hearing some more positive reports from there.
