Crane Prairie has been fishing well. Fish have been coming on dark and olive leeches, two-bits, assassins, and small chironomids 18-20. The Deschutes arm has been producing the best for us. As always stripping or paddle trolling around some bugger or leech patterns is a fun way to find some fish and cover some water. Having your nymphs under a chubby is never a bad idea in the summer as opportunistic fish will come up and crush them. Callibaetis hatches aren’t far off and having dries is a good idea, the nymphs have been fishing great.
