CROOKED REPORT 6/12/26
The Crooked River continues to fish really well and is firmly settling into its summer pattern with flows below Bowman Dam have remaining stable around 190 CFS.
PMDs continue to be the main hatch during the afternoons and caddis activity has become a bigger part of the daily mix. Fish are spending more time looking up and our recent days on the water have shown longer dry fly windows.

Nymphing continues to be a productive approach. Zebra Midges, Two Bit Hookers, perdigons, soft hackles, caddis pupa, and smaller mayfly patterns are all producing fish consistently. Focus on softer seams, tailouts, riffle corners, and walking-speed buckets where fish can feed comfortably.
Stable flows, active bugs, and increasingly consistent dry fly opportunities should make for a really strong stretch of fishing over the next few weeks.
