Crooked River Update August 4, 2023
The Crooked River has been fishing welll. Nymphing has been hot with two-bits, frenchies, spanish bullets, zebra midges, nitro caddis, ray charles and jigged leeches. Swinging around a bunny leech or small bugger is a fun way to approach the crooked this time of year as well. Caddis and PMDs should round out the dry fly box especially if you will be on the river early morning or late evening.
