Flows have stabilized nicely around 370 cfs and fishing is excellent. While it’s a bit above the summer average, the fish are active and the bite has been steady. Mother’s Day Caddis are leading the charge right now, with both pupae and adults fishing well throughout the day. Dry fly purists can have a blast when conditions line up, and subsurface patterns continue to shine — think Zebra Midges, Scuds, Rainbow Warriors, Skinny Nelsons, 2-Bit Hookers, and green perdigons. Wooly Buggers on the swing are also a smart bet in these flows.
