FALL REPORT - 6/26/26
The Fall River continues to fish well with its consistent spring creek flows providing reliable conditions throughout the day. Fish are holding in deeper slots, undercut banks, and along weed edges, where accurate presentations and long drag-free drifts continue to produce the best results.
PMDs remain the primary hatch, with the best dry fly opportunities developing through the afternoon. Blue Wing Olives and midges continue to supplement the hatch, giving anglers daily opportunities to find fish looking toward the surface.
Subsurface fishing continues to be the most consistent producer. Small PMD nymphs, Zebra Midges, Olive Perdigons, Two Bit Hookers, Pheasant Tails, and balanced leeches have all been productive, while stripping small olive or black streamers remain to be consistent options when paired with fine leaders/tippet rigs and smooth drifts.
