Fall River Update March 24, 2023

The Fall river has been fishing well. Nymphing will remain the most consistent method throughout the day but fish have been rising for midges and BWO’s as well so don’t forget your dries at home. As far as nymphing goes zebra midges, RS2’s, two-bits, perdigons, and jig leeches have been some of our recent favorites. Fish have been taking streamers as well and small slump busters and sculpin patterns have been favorites. Focus your efforts on cover when fishing streamers and try and get them close to fallen timber and undercut banks. The fish are spread out in the river now so exploring some new spots may pay off. Don’t forget that everything below the falls is closed until May 22 and go have some fun!
