The fall is still fishing quite well from the headwaters all the way below the falls. The fish are spreading back out and hiking a little to get away from some of the more pressured water can be well worth it. Anglers have been catching fish under indicators, on tight line nymphs, dry flies and streamers with something for everyone the fall is a great place to practice a specific technique or try a totally new one. As Fall turns into Winter, bugs will get smaller and the hatches less constant but for now the baitis have been coming off in the afternoons most days. Nymphing is still gonna be your best bet for numbers of fish, euro style with some tungsten head flies or under and indicator with small midges or eggs.
