Fall River Update February 3rd, 2023

The Fall river has been fishing well. Nymphing will be the best method for all times of day. Duracells, eggs, two-bits, zebra midges, and jigged leeches have been some of our favorites. Fish have been taking BWO’s and midges off the surface on some days so having some BWO and midge dries is always a good idea when heading out there this time of year. As always throwing streamers around some of the downed timber and undercut banks is a good way to get some aggressive eats. We’ve been liking green and white streamers and it’s hard to go wrong with a sculpzilla. The fish are spread out in the river now so exploring some new spots may pay off. Don’t forget that everything below the falls is closed until May 22 and go have some fun!
