East and Paulina lake continue to fish well on balanced leeches and chironomids in up to ten feet of water. Callibaetis are becoming important too as are some terrestrials like beetles/ants. Stripping small buggers or baitfish patterns has also been producing some fish. There are no boat ramps going in at East this year so if you have a larger boat, Paulina will probably be a better bet for launching. Three Creeks Lake has been good, stripping small streamers and suspending flies like balanced leeches and chironomids under an indicator has been working well. We have heard decent reports from Hosmer on callibaetis, damsels, and chironomids. We have been hearing some good reports coming out of lava on leeches/chironomids as well. Lots of options so go find some fish!
