Twin Lakes Update - 5/13/22

The road to North Twin has been closed since May 4, so we haven’t heard much from there since our last report. We have been hearing good things from South Twin however and both lakes got a fresh stocking May 6. These new fish will be active and hungry and ensure that both the Twin Lakes fish well throughout Spring and into Summer. Blanched leeches under an indicator in 8-12’ of water have been working best. Chironomids, midges, wateboatman, and damsels are all a good idea as well. The twin lakes can be a great option on stormier days as these smaller water bodies don't get pounded as hard by wind and rain. The twin lakes are a great place to bring a float tube. We have lots of good stillwater patterns in both our Bend and Sunriver locations so stop by and stock up!
