MEET THE CREW
From a lifetime of pursuing fish with fly rods, Scott has become one of more renowned anglers in Central Oregon. Whether chasing Trigger Fish on Christmas Island, Tarpon in Cuba, Bonefish in Mexico or massive rainbow trout on Crane Prairie Reservoir, Scott is happiest when angling. His appreciation for all things fly fishing personifies the business he owns and runs.
His lifetime is dedicated to two things: protecting and defending our country as a member of our military and pursuing fish with a fly rod. His intent on the former found him doing multiple tours overseas, the latter waving a rod in rivers, lakes and oceans, trying to fool anything that will eat his fly. Now he manages the vast media and social media sphere for Fly and Field Outfitters.
A young man with a breadth of knowledge beyond his years, George will be back in the shop this season, spreading his amazing understanding of our local fisheries with everyone who walks through the doors or calls in. Whether you’re heading up to East Lake or down to the Lower Deschutes, he will set you up with the right flies and how to use them.

After 20 years of working in high-end restaurants around the US, it was time for Shawn to follow his true passion, pursue trout, and explore the pristine waters in the wilderness they inhabit. A serendipitous encounter led him to the Bighorn River in Montana. The relationships forged with the fly fishing community's local members sparked the interest in guiding and providing the hospitality experience garnered in fine dining restaurants. The goal is to combine that with deep knowledge and respect for the outdoors and the life therein.
