In this 6th Edition, I enlisted Brooke Snavely to update many of the chapters wrote for previous editions. It was great to work with him again. I added about 20 waters waters to this edition and updated many chapters including those originally written by Raven Wing. Robert H. Campbell contributed an all new look at Elk Lake.

I like to think that the this book helps to spread angling attention across our great region rather than focus effort on a few big name waters. We hope that you will fish more this season and that you will try new methods and lakes and streams you haven't fished before. Because fishing regulations can change year to year, we suggest you carry a current copy of the Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations (OSPR) along on each trip.
