Fall River Update

Fall River Update

Due to Covid the hatchery is still closed. That being said the campground and ranger station has been the hot spot and very busy with anglers. Fishing Euro Nymph tactics is the best way to wrangle some nice rainbows, also with the warming weather the ants and beetles will be out and are a nice tasty treat for the willing riser. Presentations are key on the Fall, so having a smaller indicator and 6x-7x fluoro will help with more fragile presentations. Using a bigger terrestrial pattern as an indicator is much more pleasant to stare at than a bright orange piece of plastic. But to each their own. Be safe out there and remember we are all in this together, be kind of and off the river, stay patient and have a good time.
